Identities: a challenge
Just trust in yourself
Time always has an answer for everything
Hi everyone!
When we started looking at this topic, I didn't understand anything. I don't know why, but I felt a bit strange. However, our professor, Mr. Samaniego took over of all these situations that were happening not only to me, but with other peers as well.
How was this experience?
As I said before, at beginning I thought I would not be able to learn this topic, but then Mr. Samaniego developed some activities that made me lose my fear of trying something new. And here were when I started to enjoy the experience, because now it was not only the theory if not that also we did some group activities, and it was wonderful.
The column's collage challenge
This activity was incredibly because Mr. Samaniego made it to the classroom and asked us: "please, take out your magazines and come to the front of the classroom", and we did it without knowing what we had to do. And there was when he told to us that we would have to create a collage with pictures related to "Identities" and paste on the column. And we stood like: OMG!
Final evaluation
At the end of this first topic, we included it in the first term exam and we were a bit worried because we had to talk to Mr. Samaniego about a picture we had chosen earlier and answer some questions.
But I had practised before, the day before, and selected a picture that caught my attention, so I was interested in talking about the picture and describing what I thought it represented.

Also, we had to talk about a video, and I talked about a video related to success, passion and perseverance, and I really liked it.
And the other part of the exam was to write a paragraph about a story we read before as well, if I'm not mistaken, I think it was something related to being selfish. Everything we did in the exam was related to identities.
Even at the beginning it seems something impossible then with effort I achieved it and know with hindsight when I feel or I think that I can't do something, I remembered what I have achieved and it help me to continue.
Remember, don't give up, even though sometimes achieving something may require a lot of effort and sacrifice, with determination and effort we can achieve many things.

Do you think that the topic of identities gave you a better understanding of people?
ReplyDeleteHi! Indeed, this topic helped me to understand many things, but if you ask me about one, I would say: "the most important thing is not to judge people":
DeleteThe activities they have done in English sound very dynamic. It is true what you say Mario that at first we consider it complicated or impossible to learn something new, but the important thing is not to give up and do our best to achieve our goals.
